Annual Program Fee Notes:
• Annual Registration Fee: A one-time payment due at the beginning of your registration year. Covers MJA administration, league affiliation, and initial club overhead.
• Monthly Training Fee: Due on the 1st of each month. Covers coaching salaries, twice-weekly practices, and continuous access to MJA training facilities throughout the year.
• Payment Plans: Flexible payment plans are available for annual fees. Please inquire with MJA administration for details.
II. Full Kit Uniform Fee
A mandatory one-time fee for the official MJAFC uniform kit.
• Full Kit Fee (All Age Groups): $200 per player
• Kit Includes:
○ Home and Away Game Uniforms (Jersey, Shorts, Socks)
○ Practice Uniforms (Training Jersey, Shorts, Socks)
○ Warm-up Shirt
○ Game Day T-shirt (to wear to games)
○ Club Polo T-shirt
○ Tracksuit (Jacket and Pants)
III. Tournament Fees
MJAFC participates in tournaments year-round, ranging from local competitions to some involving travel. Tournament fees are charged per player for each tournament the team attends. These cover team entry fees and associated coaching expenses for the event. Your MJAFC coach will communicate specific tournament costs as they arise.
• U6, U8, U10 Age Groups: Tournament Fee: $55 (Per Player, Per Tournament)
• U12, U14, U16 Age Groups: Tournament Fee: $90 (Per Player, Per Tournament)
• U18, U23 Age Groups: Tournament Fee: $175 (Per Player, Per Tournament)
• Elite Age Group: Tournament Fee: $200 (Per Player, Per Tournament)
IV. Player Commitments & Clauses
These clauses reinforce MJA commitment to player development and ensure the integrity of our teams.
1. Early Departure / Transfer Fee (All Age Groups)
• Players are expected to commit to a full year of play with MJA If a player chooses to leave the club or transfer to another club before their annual commitment term is over, a $750 Early Departure / Transfer Fee will be assessed. This fee helps cover administrative costs and MJA investment in the player.
• Exceptions: Considered for documented medical reasons or significant family relocation (out of state/country), subject to MJA management review.
2. Breach of Code of Conduct / Rules (All Age Groups)
• All MJA players and parents/guardians must adhere to the Club's Code of Conduct, promoting sportsmanship and respect.
• In instances where a player (or their parent/guardian) is in significant breach of the Code of Conduct or rules, leading to dismissal from the club, a $500 Club Reimbursement Fee may be assessed. This helps MJAFC recoup fixed operational costs.
3. Player Development & Selected Tryout Opportunities (U14 and Above)
• Club Engagement: MJA commitment is to comprehensive player development, with a focus on long-term growth and preparing athletes for advanced levels of play.
• Selected Annual Tryout Opportunity: For players in our U14 and older age groups, MJA coaches may select specific players to receive facilitation for one (1) tryout per year. MJA will arrange the tryout opportunity with reputable academies, collegiate programs, or professional clubs (within the US or overseas), based on the selected player's profile and aspirations.
• Important Note on Tryout Fees: While MJA arranges these opportunities, all associated costs (e.g., travel, accommodation, registration fees charged by the trial club/event) are the sole responsibility of the player/family. MJA is not responsible for these external fees.
V. Scholarship Program
• Financial Assistance: MJA is committed to making soccer accessible to talented and dedicated players. We offer a limited number of scholarships to players who demonstrate financial need.
• Process: Scholarship recipients will be granted full or partial fee waivers. However, all scholarship players (or their parents/guardians) are still required to formally agree to and sign all MJA club documents, including the Club Code of Conduct and commitment clauses, before their registration is finalized.
